this is a call to arms of a desperate, yet dying youth.

okay. so i have a song playing round and round in my head right now, and it's simply breathtaking.
its by a band who i actually know, in fact these boys go to my school and three of them i see almost daily on the bus. they're called Get Educated and if any of you live near Richmond in the north of england, they're playing at Castle Calling this summer. their newest EP is free, and it's pretty damn awesome. my favourite song? Call to Arms (hence the title) and it's nearly 7 minutes long, but so worth it because it's a beautiful song. So, links to them... get educated's facebook & myspace. check them out, just for me? :)

so, onto the fashion type biz.

after posting my blog about bonnie & leigh i found two absolutely inspiring pictures of none other than one of my idols - taylor momsen.
on tuesday she was on the radio talking to fearne cotton, even though she'd been puking up the day before with food poisioning from sunday night, and even though she was ill she still went on "this morning" on monday. soldier? i think so. a genuine person worthy of celeb-fame? without a doubt with dedication like that.
so, taylor was talking to fearne on radio one, and to be honest, i love her even more than i did before - if you missed out then click here and down near the bottom there's a bit where you can listen again to it, you've got 5 days left to listen before it goes!

anyway, so i was on the pretty reckless' website, having a looksee around it as believe it or not with my love for them, i'd never actually been on their website, just their myspace.
and i found two photos of her that made me say "wow."

recently i've been a little more darker than usual. i've come up with a rather impressive photoshoot idea, and it's based on mayhem, the darkness within, yerno that type of stuff. it could be pretty wonderful, i just need to practise on photoshop, i think i might buy one of those "______ for dummies" books, maybe that'll help, if there's one on photoshop that is..

so, today, i'm totally in love with taylor momsen. she's one of the biggest inspirations and idols to me because she's simply so talented, and devoted to her passions - acting and music.
